Bondi Pavilion is a special heritage example of our beachside culture from the 1920s - St Johnís Church was established in the bohemian quarter of Kings Cross in 1849 - South Sydney Juniors is an iconic entertainment and dining venue in the eastern suburbs established as a returned servicemans club - the auditorium at Marrickville Hardcourt Tennis Club was one of the first tango venues in Sydney, started as a place for friends to share the passion of tango in 2001 Ė all are symbols of the new and vibrant Sydney of today.

Milonga Transfer Package

For your convenience, we will be arranging transport to all Festival Milonga events Milongas.

Pickup/dropoff points are Bondi, Bondi Junction and Sydney CBD.
It is the responsibility of people using this service to be at pickup points at the designated times (advised with registration documents). No refunds for missed pickups. Arrival at Milonga venues between 8-8:30pm, departure 1am from the Milongas.
The transfer package price for all Festival Milongas is $85.00 earlybird or $100 after 8 September 2013. Booking on Registration Form

The Bondi Pavilion was originally constructed in 1928 and was classified by the National Trust in 1977 as a structure of significant historic character. The Pavilion overlooks spectacular Bondi Beach and is home to the famous Bondi Lifeguards and holds a special place in Australian beach culture. Most of Bondi Beach's events centre around the Pavilion, such as the Festival of the Winds, which attracts master kite masters from around the world with spectacular designs including hoop kites, monster box kites and a range of giant sea creature kites.

The Pavilion is now a vibrant arts and entertainment venue as well as a surf and bathing pavilion. It has a theatre and exhibition gallery, an outdoor amphitheatre as well as function rooms, showers & changing rooms, food outlets & a souvenir shop and is within a thriving cafe and retail precinct.
